Book sales at our events are managed by Book & Stage Store, allowing authors to enjoy the evening whilst we handle transactions on your behalf.
How It Works
Bring your books to the event and leave the selling to us.
All books are displayed together on a central book table, creating a better browsing experience for readers and allowing authors to spend the evening networking, socialising and meeting potential readers.
Our team will:
✓ Display your books
✓ Process card payments
✓ Manage sales throughout the evening
✓ Provide a sales summary after the event
At the end of the evening, you’ll receive payment for books sold, less the agreed commission.
Commission Rates
Author Events Members: 10%
Non-Members: 15%
These commissions help support future Author Events activities and community events.
Important Information
Due to limited table space:
• Maximum 10 books per author
• Book titles, prices and quantities must be submitted in advance
• Books will be added to our sales system before the event
• Prices and titles cannot be amended on the day
• Additional books cannot be added on the evening
We recommend attending the event in person. Readers often enjoy meeting authors before making a purchase, and many of our strongest sales happen later in the evening after conversations and introductions.
