Continuing that proud tradition, the hotel now partners with Author Events to host a series of monthly gatherings celebrating books, storytelling, and the craft of writing.

Join us for Book Club & Bubbles, an evening of conversation and prosecco for readers and authors alike, and An Author’s Perspective, a relaxed morning of creative insight and practical workshops for writers.

Held on the second Monday of each month, 5.30pm – 7.00pm, Book Club & Bubbles brings together readers, writers, and local authors for lively book discussions — including a Q&A with the author of the month, and the chance to purchase signed copies.

Each £8 ticket includes a glass of Prosecco on arrival.

A relaxed and inspiring morning for writers, held on the last Saturday of each month, 10.30am – 12.30pm at the Royal Bath Hotel.

Enjoy informal networking over coffee before a one-hour workshop (11.00am – 12.00pm) led by a guest author, editor, or publishing professional.

Each £10 ticket includes tea or coffee on arrival and plenty of practical advice to help you on your writing journey.
