  • Manuscript Critique Service – in-depth editorial feedback on your work-in-progress
  • Submissions Pack Critique – get feedback on your synopsis, query letter, and opening pages
  • Masterclass video tutorials (launching soon)
  • In-person workshops and events (coming in 2025)
  • Author Chat – informal behind-the-scenes conversations with authors and industry professionals, including authors Alice G. May, Alex Stone, and publisher Sophie Beal

You do not need to be a published author to book a session. All backgrounds, genres, and experience levels are welcome.

What happens after I book for Ask the Author / Ask the Editor?

  • You’ll complete the Register Your Interest form with your availability and contact details.
  • Your form is sent directly to the expert (Alice or Gary), who will be in touch to arrange your session.
  • You’ll receive confirmation, along with your Zoom/Google Meet link.
  • Sessions are not confirmed until both your form and payment are received.
  • You may reschedule your session up to 24 hours in advance.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable unless in exceptional circumstances.
  • If the consultant cancels due to unforeseen circumstances, you’ll be offered a new date or a full refund.
