5 short plays for drama groups – Kenebec media:

Designed for small drama groups and schools
The Auditions play has won 4 awards in various festivals.
Each of the five plays is presented first as a short story as it would appear in a magazine and then as a proper drama script.
Less experienced new actors and directors may find the story version of help in understanding how to portray the scripts.
The dialogue is the same in both but the story version does not need any spoiler alerts and is closer to being what the audience will feel.
The dialogues have been chosen with the intention of reducing the possibility of causing offence.
Special Licencing Available for Amateur Groups
For genuine amateur groups and for schools (excluding professional drama schools), a perpetual performance licence will be deemed to be granted for all 5 plays if the organization purchases and retains at least 4 copies of the book.
THE AUDITIONS ( 20 to 60 minutes – you choose ! )

To achieve this, the author and director audition various actors to determine the skill set of the actors who have turned up for the auditions. Unlike most plays, in this play >you can choose which scenes to include based on the actors and time you have available. This play has won 4 awards.

But when it turns out to be a wrong number, what happens is certainly not what she was expecting.
(Based on a genuine event !)
