Vanessa Woolley writes contemporary women’s fiction, creating emotionally rich and uplifting stories with a blend of romance, suspense, and heartfelt themes such as family, identity, and healing. Born in Zimbabwe, she has also lived in South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia before settling in the UK, where she now lives in the countryside with her husband and miniature poodle, Benji.
Her debut novel, ‘Secrets at Sunset’, was Highly Commended by the Wilbur and Niso Smith Foundation’s Unpublished Manuscript Competition in 2021 and was a finalist for the Romantic Novelists’ Association’s 2025 Joan Hessayon Award.
