Family Saga – The Book Guild :

I’m Jo, a former Police Superintendent who retired from the Metropolitan Police in 2015 after thirty years of public service.

I live in The New Forest in Hampshire with my husband, and our German Shepherd dog, Jessy.

When I’m not writing, I enjoy investigating the past, and have a family tree dating back to 1420.

In 2022, I completed the Oxford University online Introduction to Creative Writing Course, and in January 2024, I followed this up with the Advanced course.

My debut novel, Under The Hickory Tree, a family saga, will be published by The Book Guild on 28 June 2025.
